Opening Auction Briefing
A short Wednesday morning at 07:30 that names the opening type and the first burst of participation, using a finished open as the case before you go to your own screen.

Prices are published so you can decide whether to enquire. Payment is arranged with the academy by telephone or email.
How the sitting runs

Name the open
The group looks at the first minutes of a finished session and agrees on the opening type before anyone offers a story.

Early participation
The tallest early price and the first thin spot are marked, and the table says whether the opening drive was initiative or a response to the prior day.

The worksheet
You copy the same three marks onto a blank sheet to use later, on a session we are not watching together.

Before you come
Arrive a few minutes early. Breakfast is not served; water is on the sideboard. The case is chosen the previous afternoon so the prints are ready.
Eight chairs. The briefing ends before the discussion turns into live commentary. No calls are made during the cash session.
